The little guy woke up with another fever on Sunday and didn't make it to school today. The teacher didn't even bother to call us to check in on him as she usually does. At least he was in good spirits today as opposed to Sunday, when he was a lethargic little sourpuss.
We had our photo session today at 6:15pm. We tried to get an early dinner in, but he ended up throwing up all of it (good thing I had an empty bowl handy!). Still, we managed to have some fun, and he was a good sport, for the most part. Meanwhile, Sophie fell asleep halfway into the session.
We'll get to see our shots next Monday, and after seeing the price list (a cheap item is a 10" x 10" framed shot for US$1,000), we'll just stick with getting our voucher's worth and walk away! Their business model is enticing families to get a photo session and a framed 8" x 10" shot for US$65 and then reeling them in with the pricey items after they see the amazing shots from the session. We're not falling for it though - after researching freelance photographers and their packages, we're better off going with them, getting files and doing our own developing and framing. Some may call it cheap - I call it resourcefulness =)
