The evening news featured a report on a random Wendy's shooting in Florida that resulted in the death of a 42-year-old father who went back into the restaurant to get the right toy for his child's meal. His wife and child were waiting in the car.
A few months ago in Hong Kong, a mentally ill woman threw her son and daughter out of the window of her apartment before jumping to her death.
Why do these things happen? What gives these people the right to take other people's lives in their hands, to impose their desire to take their own lives on others? How does one cope with such tragedy?
I look at my baby sleeping and know that amid all the madness, there's still some good in this world.

maybe the woman thought that it's a toy not a human being.
