Anyone interested in some part-time work from home?

One of my former colleagues said that by the time Ethan was six months old, I would be looking for work, and it turns out, she was right. I've been helping out a friend who works for Foundation Programs, and they are now in need of some extra help.

Foundation Programs Incorporated is an educational organization that developments and implements cultural exposure/academic programs in China for high-achieving high school students in the US and Europe. Representatives will visit schools to present these programs to the students either through assemblies or round table discussions. Your role will be to follow up by phone and email with educators, students, and families in the US and Europe who have expressed interest in our summer study programs. Essentially, you'll be explaining to them our program offerings, answering their questions, and assisting them through the admissions process.

This position is ideal for SAHMs or people who have some flexible free time. Since you will be calling Europe and the US, the work hours can vary from 9am EST to late night, but you can set the hours based on your availability. Calling will start this September, and you will be trained and supported by the Hong Kong office. Your compensation would be commensurate with your experience.

Ideally, you should
be passionate about promoting international cultural exchange and character development of high school students, especially with an interest in Asia. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to establish rapport over the phone. Organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a team environment, you should also have proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fluency in French/Spanish/German/Italian/Arabic would be a plus. Previous travel to China or Asia, experience working with parents and high school students or a background in education a plus.

Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to jobs@foundationprograms.com. You can mention in your email that Tracy referred you. If you have any questions, let me know as I am still helping out and did this position for a bit.
