I've been scouring the online ads for a sofa bed to alleviate the sleeping situation with Ethan. Well, it's mostly to give Herb a break from sleeping on the couch when Ethan wanders into our bed - at least he can stretch out with a sofa bed. Finally found one today and bought it, but still need to arrange delivery to our apartment. The woman who was selling was lamenting about moving from a four bedroom apartment to a three bedroom. Meanwhile, my apartment could probably fit in her living room...and that is not an exaggeration...
The second-hand dresser unit in Ethan's room has also died on us and led us on another trip to Ikea on Saturday. We also picked up a table and chair set for Ethan. Before having his own little chair, he started sitting on everything while he was playing with Play-Doh or coloring. That's when we figured out that he needed a little place of his own. For now, the ball pit is stored away to give us some space - we'll save that for when typhoon season hits.
Online, I also found a mobile diaper changing station that has a bathtub. I realized that we wouldn't be able to give Moo Moo a bath in Ethan's room if Ethan is napping or be able to change Moo Moo's diaper in the middle of the night (assuming Ethan's sleeping in his own bed). Now that we've found this, the only other thing we'll need is a new mattress for the crib, and possibly a rocker, and we're all set for Moo Moo.
Now, if Moo Moo would just make an appearance...
